I got this cute pattern from the current issue of Fat Quarterly. I can't wait to get more of it cut out and start sewing it together :).
I am happy to report that my mojo seems to be back and I plan to be doing a lot of sewing mostly for quite a few more projects. I finished this valance and just have to finish up the other three now :).

Here is the first of many to come (I hope):

Here is a quick project I did with my Imagine and some printable vinyl. I'm probably going to redo the word flour as I'm not 100% happy with it. I used Kate's Kitchen for the pattern and Plantin Schoolbook for the letters.

White, Black and Simply Chartreuse.
I think using neutrals with a pop of color like this is so much fun and I can see myself making a set of notecards changing out the button and embossed layer color.
I can't believe it's almost been 2 weeks since I posted. Life sure has a way of getting hectic and crazy busy when you least expect it.

I have been working on getting my craft room reorganized and decorated and I made these 3 little framed wall art pieces just for fun. I think they would work great in a teenage girl's room as well.

I did these with 5 x 7 frames but I'm going to recommend if anyone else does it to use 8 x 10 at least so you can make the dolls bigger. This way the accessories aren't itty, bitty and tiny like I had to work with :).

I am sorry this took so long to get up as life has been more hectic than I expected this past week. My son's girlfriend graduated high school and I went to that in a very poorly picked location. You would think that if they knew that they were going to be 200 parking slots short they would have changed the venue. Anyways, enough about that and onto the project!

I designed this on my gypsy using plantin schoolbook and gypsy font. I used my cricut expression to cut out the black vinyl and I high recommend using the transfer paper. It makes it so much easier and keeps everything lined up well.

It's a good thing I didn't ask my husband to help me with this as I tried to get a line on the wall I was happy with. I used a long level and it didn't look right at all standing back, so I had to keep tweaking and tweaking. I think he would have wanted to kill me :P.

I thought in my post today I would include a photo of my cat Simba, he is my shadow and especially my crafting buddy. He is a one year old Siamese that my husband found underneath the hood of his truck engine and brought him home to see if I wanted to rescue him. I had never had a kitten before and I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep him, but after seeing his adorable face I found it very hard to resist :).

Here is a photo of when he first came into our lives:
